Allen-Bradley has a two approaches to braking resistors. For some drives they provide a list of recommended resistors for specific model numbers, for which you can find a cross-reference list here
The preferred and recommended approach by Allen-Bradley is to calculate the total braking power required, and reference the minimum resistance based on the drive you are using. We have transformed this into an interactive calculator on our website.
